After leaving his home city of Insomnia, young prince Noctis embarks on a journey with his closest friends to reclaim his throne.
Leaving the city of Insomnia to get married and seal the union between the Crown City and the Empire, Prince Noctis and his three royal crowns guard travel to Altissa, only to find out that the day before they leave, the Crown City was attacked by the Empire that the King, Noctis' forsaken and Noctis himself were all presumed dead. Noctis and his three friends must travel across the world, gaining the blessings of the Six and finding a way to defeat the Empire and reclaim his throne.
